The source project of this merge request has been removed.
Add .gitattributes and .vscode/settings for easier editing/committing.
The .gitattributes should preserve the appropriate line endings for legacy files and the vscode settings should allow for the appropriate code page when viewing/editing files in the project with VS Code.
