server which can send strings with NULLs and other control chars to the
remote client. This has not been compiled or tested (yet).

Add support for loading multiple fonts with one call.
Add support for specifying target font slots.

command-line to the remote as font 255 and set it as the current font.

and it's easier to do if it's font #0.

fonts will go at the end of the array and additional standard fonts will
go after the current ones.
